Omkareshwar and Maheshwar are not located very far off from each other. The drive time between the two places takes approximately an hour and a half to two hours. Each of these places are well connected by roadways, railways and the Indore Airport is located equidistant to both Omkareshwar and Maheshwar.
Airways:
The closest Airport to reach Omkareshwar and Maheshwar is the Devi Ahillyabai Holkar Airport, Indore. On reaching Indore Airport, one can either take the train, or hire a taxi or bus to reach Omkareshwar or Maheshwar.
Railways:
From the Indore Railway Station, one can board the Malwa SF Express Train to Omkareshwar Railway Station, which takes approximately 3 hours to reach Omkareshwar. Maheshwar does not have a railway station, so in order to reach Maheshwar directly, one will need to get off at Mhow Railway Stop and hire a taxi to reach Maheshwar.

Roadways:
There are bus services that ply to Omkareshwar and Maheshwar from Indore, Ujjan, Bhopal, Khandwa and other major cities of Madhya Pradesh.
