Traveling to Gwalior

Gwalior is a major city in the Central Indian State of Madhya Pradesh and is also well connected to places like Delhi, Agra, Jhansi, due to its accessibility. Gwalior can be easily reached by air, rail and roadways as mentioned below:

Airways:

Gwalior airport is situated at a distance of nearly 14-16 km from the main city and it is very well connected by flights to all major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Bhopal etc. 

 

Railways: 

The Gwalior Railway Station is located in the city. It lies on the main Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai rail lines. Among other major trains, the Taj & Shatabdi Express connects Gwalior with Delhi & Agra.

Roadways: 

Gwalior city is also very well connected by roads. The place is connected to all major towns of Madhya Pradesh snd adjoining areas. Gwalior is connected by roads with Agra, Mathura, Jhansi, Orchha, Chanderi, Indore, Lucknow, Ujjain, Delhi, Bhopal, Khajuraho to name a few. There are various buses one can board from these cities to reach Gwalior.
