GHR Ooty 2016 Finishers Medal – Nilgiri Railway
Go Heritage Run Ooty’s run routes traverse the Nilgiri Mountain Railway line – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll cross the railway line right next to the Lovedale railway station, and a few kilometers later, observe the railway line snake into a tunnel from a high rocky vantage point on the run route. And the Ooty finisher medal is a souvenir to commemorate your run along the railway line. Much like the run T-shirt featuring runners traipsing across a railway line, the medal too has a railroad motif – a quaint steam engine laser-cut into wood. And it’s a beauty!
All participants at the 5K, 10K and 15K runs in Ooty on Run Weekend will get one of these lovely souvenirs – we hope this will tempt you to come take a run vacation with us!

Our runs see participation from people of all ages – 5 to 85. For runners of less than 18 years of age, we require that the parent/guardian sign an undertaking allowing the child to participate.
