Airways:
The nearest Airport to Bhopal is the Raja Bhoj Airport, about 13 km northwest from the city centre connecting major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Goa, Kolkata, by regular flights. Taxis are available for the airport to reach the city centre.
Railways:
Bhopal Junction is the largest railway station in the city. it is a major junction along the Delhi- Chennai main line and the Central railway route from Delhi- Mumbai. Major trains going from Mumbai to Delhi via Itarsi and Jhansi also go through Bhopal. Local buses and auto-rickshaws are available to reach the city center.
Roadways:
Regular state run and private bus services connect Bhopal to Indore, Ahmedabad, Kota, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Shirdi, Pune, Jaipur, Amravati, Vadodara, Surat and Nashik.
