Listed below are just a few of the popular trek routes.\u00a0These are all within driving distance from Madikeri so if you&#8217;re around Coorg and have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goheritagerun.com\/explore-coorg-places-to-see-things-to-do\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">seen the sights,<\/a>\u00a0 head to the hills! Some of these treks require permits and guides so do plan accordingly.<\/p>\n<h2>Thadiyandamol Betta<\/h2>\n<p>This is the highest peak in the Kodagu district and has an easy-to-complete\u00a0trek through forests and trail paths. Expect to see a 200-year old Nalkad Palace near the base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distance from Madikeri Town:<\/strong> 40 kms. Expect scenic views once you reach the peak!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distance from Madikeri Town:<\/strong> 80 kms.
