Badami’s a small town so getting from one end to the other is fairly straightforward – if you know your way around. And you will once you’re done reading this post.

TRAVELLING IN:

Coming by train? The train station is 4kms. north of the town center. Autos and share autos are around whenever trains arrive. So you can expect one even if you’re on that Secunderabad-Hubli Express that chugs into Badami station at 4AM Saturday morning.

Coming in by bus? You’re in luck. The bus stand is in the center of town.

ACCOMMODATION:

We’ve updated our hotels list and identified those that are closer to the run venue. See here for details. Choose the ones that are less than 2kms. to the venue so you’re just a short walk away from the start point come Sunday morning.

GETTING TO THE START/FINISH POINT:

The start point of the run, which also doubles as bib pickup point on the day before, is The Archaeological Museum, Badami.
