At dawn, on Sunday, the 9th of August, over 500 runners took part in the Historic Hyderabad Run organized by Go Heritage Runs<\/a> and Hyderabad Runners<\/a> intended to promote the 5th edition of the Airtel Hyderabad Marathon<\/a> as well as showcase some of Hyderabad’s iconic heritage monuments. The run was organized in partnership with Airtel, Telangana Tourism and the Telangana\u00a0chapter of INTACH.<\/p>\n Runners ran along the outer periphery of the Golconda Fort, past the Qutb Shahi Tombs and finished their run at the Taramati Baradari. The run also gave AHM 2015 participants following the Hyderabad Runners marathon training plan the opportunity to complete their last long run on a\u00a0scenic 32K route. Two elite runners were in attendance as well – Indian Olympian Ram Singh Yadav, and 93-year old Vijay Ramchander Reddy who completed the 10K run – an elite runner in his own right.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
