A runcation is a weekend getaway at a scenic destination with lots of running and exploring thrown in. This Cambodia runcation will involve not just running but a moderate intensity jungle trek and lots of sightseeing thrown in too!
This Cambodia Runcation is slated on multiple dates in November 2019.
The runs on the Cambodia Runcation are not timed, these are fun runs at scenic locations!
Early bird, discounted bookings close on June 20th.
Regular bookings close on July 30th.
Last minute bookings will be available until August 31st or when all slots are full – whichever happens sooner.

Day 1 – (26 Oct/1 Nov/5 Nov), Friday : Arrival in Siem Reap
-> Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport and check into your hotel.
-> Meet with the runcation group and get to know each other.
-> Later in the evening, head into town to watch the Ramakien (Ramayana) show.
Day 2 – (27 Oct/2 Nov/6 Nov), Saturday : Run around Angkor Wat, Bayon, Sightseeing
-> Start your day early with a 5KM run around the boundaries of the Angkor Wat.
-> Post the run, head back to the hotel, freshen up and then visit Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm Temple. Angkor Thom and Bayon with its captivating stone faces.
Day 3 – (28 Oct/3 Nov/7 Nov), Sunday :Run from Banteay Srei to Kbal Spean, Trek to Kbal Spean
-> Start your day early by running from Banteay Srei to Kbal Spean.
-> The run from Banteay Srei to Kbal Spean will be a good 14KM followed by a moderate intensity trek through a jungle on a hill to Kbal Spean.
-> Banteay-Srei is known as Citadel of women and dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a unique pink sandstone temple with carvings from the Indian Epics.
-> Kbal Spean is also known as the valley of the Thousand Shiva Lingas, carved on the river bed, which are said to have been designed in the 11th century.
-> Later in the evening, maybe visit the ‘Angkor What?’ pub to celebrate the run!
Day 4 – (29 Oct/4 Nov/8 Nov), Monday : Departure
-> Check out of the hotel and spend a few hours shopping before heading to Siem Reap International Airport.
To keep the experience exclusive and intimate we are limiting participation to 20 runners. You will meet them at the hotel, along the guided runs and the trek and you can choose to explore Cambodia together too!
Yes, at actuals (usually cost between INR 25,000 and INR 35,000) plus a nominal service fee. Please note that the cost flight tickets is not included in the price mentioned above.
If you can run or walk 10KM in under 1.5 hours, you will enjoy our guided runs across Siem Reap and its vicinity. You can walk too if you like. Do not forget to bring comfortable running shoes.

Yes! If you are a running club or group or a group of friends or office colleagues or family and would like us to organize a runcation to Cambodia exclusively for your group, please let us know. We will need 8 or more runners in this group. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us when your group is interested in taking the runcation and we will be happy to help!
The current prices are all calculated for Indian nationals. If some places have different entry fees/charges for non Indian or SAARC country nationals, we will inform these to you upfront when you book.
Yes! While a runcation is meant for folks who run, we understand that non-runner partners/friends/family members may also want to join with a runner. We will be glad to host non-running guests at the Cambodia runcation!
Yes! Children are welcome to run or join as non-runners at the Cambodia runcation! Children will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times if they are running.
Any cancellation has to be done at-least 30 days in advance for a refund; No refund will be possible later. The amounts to be refunded are as follows:
More than 60 days before departure: 50% refund
60 – 30 days before departure: 30% refund
Less than 30 days before departure: no refund
However, in certain cases, to protect rates, Beyonder is required to book non-refundable services in advance. In such cases, notwithstanding the above, Beyonder reserves the right to recover the entire amount of such services from the guest in case of cancellations at any time. Such amounts would be deducted from the refunds computed above.
