GHR Hyderabad 2016 Run T-shirt

For 2016, we made a conscious decision to design all our run T-shirts in bold colors. Hampi had a Red-Brown-Orange color palette, Warangal had red with hints of yellow, white and blue,  Ooty had Forest Green – and now Hyderabad has a deep shade of blue. Please note that the design below is a representation only – all GHR t-shirts are technical t-shirts made of quick dry material.

The rulers of the Qutb Shahi dynasty (1512-1687) can take credit for many of Hyderabad’s iconic heritage structures – the Charminar, Golconda Fort, Taramati Baradari and of course the Qutb Shahi Tombs. Early rulers of the dynasty appreciated Persian language, culture and architecture and that influence can be observed in the many buildings and monuments they left behind. That influence can also be seen in our run T-shirt; the geometric floral patterns are inspired by Qutb Shahi architectural elements, specifically Persian windows. Look even closer and you’ll see a silhouette of a runner at the center of the patterns too.

Persian windows are the basis of the pattern used in the t-shirt design
